The Lyon College Scots
were eliminated from a shot at post-season play when
Lambuth and Cumberland cinched the fifth and sixth seeds
in the TranSouth Conference Tournament.
Lyon finished tied for
sixth in the conference with Cumberland (each had a 4-5
conference record), but were nixed from the league
tournament via the head-to-head tiebreaker. Cumberland
defeated Lyon, 6-2, back on Sept. 29 to break the tie in
the standings.
