Owens, Hill honored
with TranSouth
Scholar Athlete nods
BATESVILLE, Ark. – Two
Lyon College Scots – Matt Owens and Adam Hill – have
been selected to the 2007-08 TranSouth Scholar Athlete
team.
To be
named to the TranSouth Scholar Athlete team, a
student-athlete must be at least a sophomore
(academically) and must carry at least a 3.0 grade-point
average.
The
TranSouth Scholar Athlete selection was the third
straight for Owens, a 6-2 senior guard from Lake City,
Ark.
The honor
was the first for Hill, a 6-0 senior guard from Norwood,
Mo.
