BATESVILLE, Ark. -- Seniors Levi Taylor,
Trey Salley and Jonathan Donaldson combined for 54
points, but the Lyon College Scots fell to the
Freed-Hardeman Lions -- 72-68 -- on Senior Night at
Becknell Gym.
Taylor went for a game-high 26 points on
11 of 19 shooting from the field, including 4 of 9 from
3-point range. The Melbourne, Ark., standout also had
eight rebounds, two blocks and two steals.
Donaldson (Beebe, Ark.) added 18 points
and four assists and Salley (Little Rock, Ark.) pitched
in 10 points.
Lyon drops to 13-16 overall and 7-12 in
TranSouth play. Freed-Hardeman improves to 19-9 and
10-8.
The Lions got a team-high, double-double
outing from Zack Frey. Frey had 19 points and 11 boards
to lead the Lions to victory.
