HENDERSON, Tenn. -- The Lyon College Scots shot just 34
percent from the field in an 80-49 loss to the
Freed-Hardeman Lions Saturday in a TranSouth Conference
road game.
Lyon
(9-9 overall and 3-5 in TranSouth play) hit only 19 of
55 shots from the field and were 7 of 21 (33 percent)
from 3-point range. Freed-Hardeman (12-5, 4-4) hit 56
percent (32 of 57) from the floor en route to the
victory.
Levi
Taylor paced the Scots with 14 points, Trey Salley
earned 12 and guard Jonathan Donaldson had 11.
Donaldson's 11 points gives him 1,524 for his career and
moves the senior from Beebe, Ark. into ninth place on
the Scots all-time scoring list, ahead of former Lyon
standout Ryland Kieffer (1994-98).
Kristoffer Smith led the Lions with a game-high 23
points and pulled down eight rebounds.
