BATESVILLE, Ark. -- Antione Lesesene scored 22 points to
lead the Bethel College Wildcats to their first
TranSouth Conference win -- a 70-61 victory over the
Lyon College Scots Monday evening at Becknell Gym.
The
Scots fall to 9-10 overall and 3-6 in conference play.
Bethel improves to 10-9 and 1-8.
Scots' forward Levi Taylor accounted for 13 points, nine
rebounds and eight blocks in the game. Lyon guard
Jonathan Donaldson added 13 points and eight rebounds.
Derek
Demaree added 12 points for the Wildcats, while teammate
Leon Sewell had 10 points.
Scots Notes With
his Monday-night scoring total, Jonathan Donaldson moves
into 8th place on the career scoring list with 1,557
points. He passes Clint Reed, who had 1,555 points from
1995-99.
