BATESVILLE, Ark. -- Levi Taylor accounted for a
game-high 32 points and Jonathan Donaldson added 20 in
Lyon College's 94-85 win over the Blue Mountain
Toppers Thursday in a TranSouth Conference affair at
Becknell Gym.
Taylor added eight rebounds, three blocks and five
steals to go with his game-high point total. Donaldson
led all rebounders with 12 boards and had five steals.
Taylor's point output now gives the senior forward 1,214
for his career, moving him past former Scot Charlie
Howard (1979-81) for 21st place on the all-time list.
Scots' guard Jeremy Brown added nine points off the
bench on 3 of 4 shooting from the 3-point arc.
Lyon
(12-15, 6-11) was a killer on the boards, outrebounding
Blue Mountain 47-30.
Blue
Mountain is still winless on the year, falling to 0-27
and 0-17. The Toppers were led by Kenny Whitis with 24
points. Whitis was 7 of 11 from the field, including 4
of 5 from 3-point range and 6 of 9 from the line.
