SPRINGDALE, Ark. -- The
Lyon College Scots got a combined 51 points from four
players in a 71-61 triumph over Ecclesia College Tuesday
evening in a nonconference road contest.
Seniors Jonathan
Donaldson and Levi Taylor scored a team-high 15 points
apiece for Lyon. Scots' teammates Preston Butts and Trey
Salley also pitched in 11 and 10 points, respectively.
Lyon's win evened the
team's record at 3-3 and halted a two-game losing
streak, in which the Scots lost by a combined total of
two points. The victory also gives Lyon a perfect record
against Ecclesia in the two squads' last three meetings.
Ecclesia and Lyon play
again in the season-series finale on Dec. 8 at Becknell
Gym.
