Scots head basketball
coach Kevin Jenkins announced that Sean Coker has been
hired as an assistant men's basketball coach for the
2006-07 season.
Coker, a Colorado
Springs, Colo., native and former Scots baseball player,
is set to graduate in May from Lyon College with a
degree in history.
"I'm extremely happy to
be at Lyon College first as a player, and now as a
coach," said Coker. "It's been my dream to get into
coaching and I'm just lucky that coach Jenkins and coach
Garner thought I'd be able to contribute to the program.
This is definitely a great place to get your foot in the
door."
