NASHVILLE, Tenn. - Jonathan Donaldson of
Lyon College is the TranSouth Athletic Conference men's
basketball player of the week for the week ending
November 26, 2006.
Donaldson, a 6'4” junior guard from Beebe, Ark., helped
lead the Scots to a pair of wins on the week. In the
team's 74-65 win over Ecclesia College the
all-conference player had a double-double with 18 points
and 11 rebounds.
In the team's 72-70 overtime win over
Philander Smith he added 27 points, nine rebounds, an
assist and six steals. He also hit a game tying 3-point
basket to send the game to overtime. For the week
Donaldson averaged a double-double with 22.5 points and
10 rebounds while hitting 15-of-28 (54%) from the field
and 13-of-18 (72%) from the foul line.
