Quinn Cooper, a 6-0 point guard from
North Pulaski High School, has signed a letter of intent
with Lyon College.
Cooper was an All-State selection as a senior, averaging
18 points, eight rebounds and six assists. The Little
Rock native was also a two-time all-conference selection
and an All-Metro team member.
“Quinn is an excellent
player and we are very pleased that he chose Lyon
College to continue his education and basketball
career,” Scots' Coach Kevin Jenkins said. “He has two
years in the very tough 5A-East conference and should be
able to come in and contribute early because of his
ability to handle the ball, be a productive scorer and
play hard-nosed defense.
“Quinn has very good leadership skills, and we are
expecting him to be a strong leader on our ball club. We
feel that Quinn will be a great asset to the Lyon
College community.”
