The TranSouth Athletic Conference
released its 2006-07 All-Academic Men’s Basketball Team
on Wednesday and Matt Owens was selected for his
excellence in the classroom and participation on the
basketball court.
Owens, a 6-2 guard from Lake City, Ark.,
holds a 3.48 grade-point average and started 22 games
for the Scots this season.
