Twelve 3-pointers as a team and got a game-high 26
points each from Braden Watson and Jermaine Templeton
helped the Williams Baptist Eagles roll to an 83-72
victory over the Lyon College Scots Tuesday in a
nonconference contest.
Williams Baptist shot
12-of-29 (41.4 percent) from the 3-point arc, including
a scorching 8-of-13 (61.5 percent) in the second half.
Lyon got 15 points from
Jonathan Donaldson, who hit on 6-of-11 shots from the
field. Levi Taylor added 11 points and eight rebounds
while teammate Preston Butts pitched in 11 points.
The Scots turned the ball
over 26 times to the Eagles 11 and hit on only 16-of-27
free-throw attempts.
