SPRINGDALE, Ark. -- Led by a team-high 18 points from
junior guard Jonathan Donaldson, four Lyon College Scots
scored in double figures and turned a 34-34 halftime tie
into a 74-65 victory Monday evening in a nonconference
road game.
Junior forward Levi Taylor added 12 points, Preston
Butts earned 11 and center Brandon Thomas had 10 to
round out the Scots' scoring quartet. The win pushed
Lyon above the .500 mark on the season, settling the
team at 4-3.
Ecclesia got a game-high 27 points out of Donnie
Williams and 13 from teammate Jerome Addison.
Next for the Scots is a Saturday meeting with Philander
Smith College at Little Rock. Tipoff is scheduled for
7:30 p.m.
