CONWAY, Ark. -- Jonathan Donaldson came up with his
second straight outing of 25 or more points to help the
Lyon College Scots to their third consecutive victory --
a 78-69 decision over Central Baptist College Monday
evening in a nonconference road contest.
Donaldson scored a game-high 26 points and shot 11-of-13
from the free-throw line. The guard from Beebe, Ark. has
exploded as of late earning a grand total of 53 points
in his last two games. Teammate Levi Taylor added 19
points.
Freshman guard Quincy Maxfield and senior center Brandon
Thomas each had six points.
Lyon's victory notches
a season sweep of CBC and improves the team to 6-3 this
season. Next up for the Scots is a home game against
Williams Baptist on Thursday at Becknell Gymnasium.
