TYLER, Tex. -- Led by
Beau Palmer, Daniel Haney and Glenn Ritter, the Lyon
College Scots managed to earn a sixth-place finish out
of nine teams Saturday in the UT-Tyler Men's Meet.
Palmer finished 27th with
a time of 28:23 while Haney and Ritter tied for 31st
with a respective time of 28:45.
J.R. Paysinger came in
58th (31:51), Daniel Angel finished 62nd (33:22), Chad
Engrer placed 64th and John Hubbard was 78th.
The Pipers finished ninth
out nine teams in the women's meet, but Emily Sexton was
the top Lyon College finisher on the day, placing
eighth.
Sexton ran a time of
24:32 to earn the finish.
Finishers of note for the
Pipers were Brittany Young, who placed 55th (32:27) and
Rachel Rowe, who ran 57th (32:48).
