LOUISVILLE, Ky. -- Pipers
cross-country runner Emily Sexton notched the top finish
for Lyon College at the Region XI meet at E.P. Tom
Sawyer Park, placing 21st with a time of 21:05.06.
Lyon had 220 points and
finished eighth as a team out of a nine team field.
TranSouth Conference foe Union won the meet with 43
points.
Pipers' runner Brittany
Young came in 53rd place, Mary Wiley captured 59th,
Monica Fuller placed a spot behind Wiley in 60th and
Rachel Rowe finished in 67th place. Emily Wilson and
Sarah Scott rounded out the Lyon field of runners in
71st and 72nd, respectively.
Other Scots finishers of
note were: Gabe LeBlanc in 44th place, Steven Wright in
55th place, Andrew Nadzam in 59th place, Josh Looney in
65th place and John Hubbard in 66th place.
