BATESVILLE, Ark. -- Lyon College Scots' pitchers Derek
Bond and Justin McGarity threw back-to-back
complete-game shutouts in an 11-0 and 6-0 doubleheader
sweep of Fisher College Saturday at Scots Field.
Lyon
improves to 10-1 this season and its fourth consecutive
win over Fisher College. The Scots play again on Sunday
at 10 a.m. in a single game against Blackburn College at
Scots Field.
Fisher College falls to 0-4.
Game One
Bond (2-0) pitched a five innings and allowed just two
hits for the game-one shutout win. The senior
right-hander struck out three and walked none.
Scots' second baseman Justin Brown went 2-for-2 with an
RBI. Jay Husband was 2-for-3 with an RBI and teammates
Zac Wallace and Kody Cox drove in two runs apiece.

Two
McGarity (3-1) threw a two-hit shutout of his own in
game two and pitched a seven-inning complete game. The
senior hurler struck out seven and walked three.
Lyon
first baseman Drew Kellums and third baseman Justin
Cunningham drove in two runs each.
