Flegel
earned eighth place and the Lyon
College Pipers finished third in the TranSouth Conference Tournament Monday at
the Hermitage Golf Course.
Flegel
earned a two-day total of 182 on the Par-72, 5,850-yard
course. She shot 93 on the first day and bounced back to
record an 89 on day two.
The Pipers
shot 798 as a team and were 92 shots behind
tournament-champion Trevecca Nazarene. Bethel College
earned second at 751 and Martin Methodist is fourth with
839.
Charli Steed
earned 12th place with a 198 and Diedra Brauburger
finished 13th with a 201. Chelsea Wilson (217) and
Meredith Davis placed 14th and 17th, respectively.
