S.C.A.R.F. History
In the Fall of 2000 Dean John Peek, Vice President of Academic Services, formed an advisory committee to develop an annual student research conference. The advisory committee, consisting of faculty from several disciplines, named the event the "Student Creative Arts and Research Forum" in order to encourage participation from diverse disciplines across campus. The advisory committee decided upon the basic structure and format of the Forum with the expectation that changes will occur as the college community provides feedback and suggestions.
