Dr. Stinson, a native of Athens, Georgia, and Wilkesboro, North Carolina, came to Lyon in 1994. He is a widely known scholar of the music of Johann Sebastian Bach. Dr. Stinson has taken Lyon students on Nichols International Studies trips to Germany to study Bach. He serves as the College Organist.
