Ray Green

Coach Ray Green is in his second season at the helm of the Pipers volleyball program.

Green received a B.A. in Photography from Virginia Intermont College in Bristol, Va.

Prior to coming to Lyon, Green served as the head coach of NCAA Division I Manhattan College from 2004-2007. At Manhattan College, Green amassed a record of 39-76. His 2006 Lady Jaspers' team was MAAC Tournament semifinalists. Green's players earned four All-Mid Atlantic Athletic Conference selections and 15 MAAC All-Academic nods.

Before Manhattan College, Green was an assistant men's and women's volleyball coach at Rutgers University in Newark, N.J. from 2001-2004.

Green started his head coaching career at Douglas S. Freeman High School in Richmond, Va., where he built one of the most respected prep teams in the state. In 2000, his Freeman team finished fifth in the state championships. In 1999, his squad finished third.
