 Entering students sign Lyon’s Roll of Honor at a special convocation
upon matriculation, and all students ‘pledge’ their adherence to the Honor Code when they submit
course assignments or examinations.
Similarly, the Social System is based on the notion that students should assume a significant role in shaping their lives at Lyon. The system establishes a code of conduct by which students agree to abide in their interactions with other members of the Lyon community. Both the Honor System and Social System are overseen by student councils elected by their peers.
