Lyon celebrates the scholarship and the talents, the similarities, and the differences of its students. The decision whether or not to admit a student is made independently of any assessment of the student's ability to pay the full costs of a Lyon education.
Financial need is addressed through a variety of resources: federal and state grant programs, federal loan programs, the federal work-study program, and Lyon College's own
scholarship, grant, and work-study program.
To qualify for need-based financial aid, you must:
Complete the Free Application For Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). You may get a copy of the FAFSA from Lyon, you high school counselor's office, or you can complete the FAFSA online form at
www.fafsa.ed.gov
You must apply and be accepted for admission to Lyon before a financial aid award can be made. It is recommended that you apply for aid by mid-February.
