In response to requests from the community, Lyon College
and the University of Arkansas Community College at
Batesville have partnered with the University of
Arkansas at Little Rock to offer a master of business
administration distance learning program.
The MBA program is for students with business, liberal
arts, scientific or professional backgrounds. Classes
are offered in the evening to accommodate employees and
full-time students. Teaching techniques include
lectures, case studies, group projects, simulation
games, video sessions and field assignments. Interaction
among students and faculty is possible with e-mail,
telephone, and compressed interactive video.
The program can be completed in two years by taking two
courses per academic semester and one course each
summer. Undergraduate courses may be used to fulfill
precondition and prerequisite graduate level courses.
