Business Law Club visits Arkansas Supreme Court

The Business Law Club went to the Arkansas Supreme Court on Nov. 15 to hear oral arguments. The issue in the appellate case focused on the interpretation of a state statute and the limited waiver of sovereign immunity. After oral arguments, two of the Supreme Court Justices met with the Business Law Club to discuss the oral arguments process and the opportunities in the field of law. The Business Law Club was formed last year to promote academic excellence for all students interested in law and the legal profession. The club has 22 members and the faculty sponsor is Dr. Garry Wann (pictured at left).
