Lyon to celebrate Diversity Week
Jan. 20-26 with variety of programs

Lyon College will celebrate Diversity Week Jan. 20-26 with a variety of special events.

On Monday, Jan. 21, the Black Student Association will host a reception at 7 p.m. in Bevens Music Room.

Marcos Napa, a native of Lima, Peru, and dancer Teresa Maldonado will present an Afro-Peruvian music and dance program at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday in Holloway Theater. Napa will give the history of the arrival of black people to Peru as well as introduce popular dances and instruments.

A diversity film will be shown at 7 p.m. Jan. 24 at Sanders Lecture Hall in the Derby Center.
