Ceremony held for oak tree

Students and staff members gather at the oak tree on the southwest end of Huser Field for a tree ceremony Feb. 20. The tree has since been removed to make room for a new softball field. Participants in the ceremony provided quotes about trees, read poems to honor trees and shared memories of the large oak tree. Construction of the softball field is under way.
