Incoming Lyon College students will flock to the campus Friday,  June 13, for a second orientation day. Lyon 101: Orientation and Registration is scheduled to begin at 9 a.m. Friday in the Lyon Rotunda.

Students will be welcomed by Lyon President Walter B. Roettger and introduced to Core Curriculum. Students will then have advising sessions and meet with student mentors.

At the end of the day, students will create Facebook profiles and register for classes.

The following is the students scheduled for the event:

9 –9:30 a.m. — Registration in the Lyon Rotunda

9:30 –10 a.m. — Welcome & The Lyon Experience in Nucor Auditorium

10 –10:10 a.m. —Overview of the day in Nucor Auditorium

11–11:15 a.m. — Break in Flander’s

11:15 – 11:30 a.m. — COR 100 (Freshmen Seminar) Presentation in Nucor

11:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. — Concurrent Sessions for parents

12:30 – 1:15 p.m. — Lunch in Edward’s Commons

1:15 – 1:45 p.m. — Meet with your student’s faculty advisor in Group Room

1:45 – 2:45 p.m. — Concurrent Sessions for parents, continued
