Regional Science Fair

Lyon College recently hosted the Regional Science Fair for local high school and junior high school students. The following students were selected as science fair winners.

Animal Sciences — Matt Reinheardt of Batesville, first place; Emily Barber of Batesville, second place and Chris Elms of Batesville, third place

Behavioral and Social Science — Haley Vinson of Batesville, second place and Corey Melton of Batesville, third place

Chemistry — Bailey Bruce of Batesville, second place and Michael Palese of Batesville, third place.

Earth Science — Becky Kelley of Batesville, second place and Alma Medina of Batesville, third place

Engineering: Electrical and Mechanical — Taylor Leger of Batesville, first place in the senior division; Georgia Weygandt of Batesville, first place in junior division; Josh Spurlock of Batesville, second place in junior division
