Golf carts provided shuttle service
at Homecoming activities this year

During Homecoming this year, Lyon offered a golf cart shuttle service for those who needed it. Bubba Burks ’54 provided the use of his personal golf cart and arranged to borrow three golf carts from the Batesville Municipal Golf Course. Julie Church, Lyon’s golf coach, recruited some of the Lyon golfers to drive the carts. They included the following: Chelsea Wilson, Seth Johnson, Brad Biggers, Matthew Cromer and Meredith Davis. The shuttle service was provided for the convocation on Saturday and the Kirkin' service and Club 50 on Sunday.

Our thanks go to Bubba Burks for arranging to get the golf carts, Randy Satterfield for transporting the carts to campus, Randy Palmer and the City of Batesville for the loan of their golf carts, and Coach Church and her golf team for driving the carts.
