CenterPoint Energy team wins Corporate Olympics
Lyon College pipers Kenton Adler and Jimmy Bell pose with CenterPoint Energy's winning Corporate Olympics team "Pass-N-Gas." Adler and Bell piped the employees into work Wednesday morning. The Corporate Olympics were part of the 29th Arkansas Scottish Festival. The Centerpoint Entergy team was the day's overall winner. The team earned the coveted Corporate Olympics Traveling Trophy, which will be on display at the local Centerpoint office until April 2009. In addition, they won the honor of being piped into work. Bad Boy's "Kilting Kickers" took second place honors, while the Cheatham "Lions" won third. The three members of each team also received large shopping bags made of recycled materials; the bags were filled with goodies again donated by the Regional Advisory Board and Lyon League.
