Dr. Tebbetts selected as reader for journal Dr. Terrell Tebbetts, Lyon College Martha Heasley Cox Chair in American Literature, has been selected to review submissions to the prestigious Faulkner Journal, a peer-reviewed forum for the scholarly study of William Faulkner’s life and works published by the University of Central Florida. As a reader, Dr. Tebbetts will complete reports describing why he recommends rejection, revision or acceptance of two to three submissions. This is Dr. Tebbetts' second time to work with editors of The Faulkner Journal. He has been appointed as guest editor of a forthcoming issue devoted to “Faulkner in Contemporary Fiction.” The Faulkner Journal publishes general issues twice a year and also publishes special double issues on topics such as “Faulkner and Feminisms,” “Faulkner the Reiver,” and “Faulkner and Latin America.” The publication has on its advisory board distinguished scholars from around the country and international scholars as well. |
