Church awards grant to Lyon for Rogers Center

Tim Bruner (fourth from right), vice president for institutional advancement, met with members of the First Presbyterian Church in Shreveport, La., recently to accept a $20,000 D. Thomason grant for the college's Rogers Center project. The church's D. Thomason grant committee awarded nearly $250,000 to 19 different nonprofit organizations representing ministries, missions and education.
