Kabir presents paper
Lyon College Associate Professor of Economics Mahbubul Kabir recently presented a paper at the Eastern Economic Association Annual Conference in Boston, Mass. Co-authored by Dr. Azzeddine Azzam, director for the Center for Agricultural and Food Industrial Organization, University of Nebraska-Lincoln, the paper was titled "Vertical Integration and Cost Efficiency in Multistage Hog Production: An Investigation by Estimation of Cost Frontier."
Kabir said he also was invited to a reception at the residence of Professor N. Gregory Mankiw. Mankiw is the author a very popular principles of economics text. He is a professor at Harvard now, and he was the chairman (2003-2005) of President Bush's Council of Economic Advisors.
