Born in Lima, Peru, Dr. Monica Rodriguez joined the Lyon faculty in 2001. Dr. Rodriguez has served as an advisor to Sigma Delta Pi, the Spanish honor society and currently serves as director of the Nichols International Travel Program and as advisor to the Spanish Club, member of Liberal Arts Teacher Education Committee and Promotion and Tenure committees. Dr. Rodriguez has also served as an ESL/Spanish teacher and translator at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Batesville and presently translates for Family Violence Prevention Center.
