Information for Students

Students must complete the FAFSA each year to continue to receive Federal Student Financial Aid. This should be completed as soon as possible after January 1st each year. You may apply at www.fafsa.ed.gov. Be sure to list the Lyon College school code which is 001088.

Academic Progress Policy

All types of Financial Aid require that students maintain certain grade point averages and complete a certain number of hours each year to continue eligibility to receive aid. Below is a list of the requirements for the different programs.

Grade Point Average Requirements

0-29 hours:         1.75
30-59 hours:       1.90
60-89 hours:       2.00
90- + hours:        2.00
