Areas of scholarship or expertise: 
Organic chemistry as it applies to synthetic methodology--specifically, organoborane chemistry. Prior to his appointment at Lyon, Dr. Pace spent seven years in the chemical industry as a development chemist at a manufacturing facility in Arkansas.
