Dr. Beckford joined the Lyon faculty in 2001. He has served as faculty advisor of the student chapter of the American Chemical Society, vice president of the faculty assembly, and as chair of the curriculum curriculum committee. He also serves as a soccer referee for both high school and the Independence County Youth Athletic Association.
