On October 26, 2010, a devastating fire destroyed most of Edwards Commons. Now, a new Campus Center will rise from the ashes. It will be a vibrant hub of campus life, attracting widespread community use from Batesville and beyond. Scheduled to be ready for use by Fall 2012, this larger Campus Center will be better suited to serve Lyon’s growing student population. In a sense, it will become the “kitchen, dining room and family room” of our residential campus. And you can help pave the way for this much needed facility!
Your gift of $125 will purchase a commemorative brick which can be personalized with your own message. Honor a professor or student. Celebrate your Greek organization. Remember a special event in your life at Lyon. Proceeds will benefit the Campus Center construction fund. These bricks will create a walkway outside the Campus Center. More important, these bricks will create a lasting testament to the legacy of loyal alumni and a path for generations of future students to follow in pursuit of their dreams for top quality liberal arts education.
