Parman comes to Lyon after serving as an assistant coach for the men's and women's programs at Hendrix College in Conway for the past three seasons. While at Hendrix, Parman had a hand in nearly all aspects of the program's operations. "He has a high energy level and brings a lot of excitement to our program. Parman takes over the program following the departure of Tyson John, who left to pursue other coaching opportunities. Last season, the Scots (12-4-1) fell short to conference powerhouse Martin Methodist College (Tenn.) in the TranSouth Athletic Conference tournament championship, 1-0. During his time in Conway, Parman served as the director of goalkeepers and staff coach for the Arkansas Rush club program. He was also the head coach and goalkeeper coach for the Arkansas Olympic Development Program. Parman is a graduate of Luther College (Iowa) where he got his degree in Business Management with an emphasis in Sports Management. As a player, he was a four-year letter winning and starting keeper, holding numerous records. He finished as with the schools sixth all-time goals against average at 1.08 a game.
