Lyon College is blessed to be supported by many alumni, parents and friends – many of them our Batesville and Independence County neighbors. We enjoy strong, mutually beneficial relationships with numerous corporate partners in the region. Students participate in internships, job shadowing and other educational experiences at many local businesses and industrial sites. Members of the campus community contribute countless volunteer hours throughout the region annually. Many companies also provide matching gift programs that double or triple the impact of their employees’ financial contributions to Lyon College.

Further, the College offers two distinctive programs which encourage corporate support and provide great recognition opportunities: Lyon League and Team Spirit. Lyon League drives customer traffic to the storefronts of area merchants by enticing students, faculty and staff with discounts on merchandise and services. Team Spirit raises funds to support varsity athletics and annual scholarships. Companies who contribute are recognized through various means, including banners inside Becknell Gymnasium, advertisements in local media and articles in Lyon’s electronic newsletter.
