Lyon College offers a variety of internship opportunities designed to further the liberal arts education and the professional development of Lyon students. These internships are offered through coursework in specific majors, independent studies, and summer jobs. Students interested in internship opportunities within their major or minor areas of study should consult their academic advisors. Students seeking experiential learning opportunities through summer jobs should contact the office of career development.

Lyon College strives to provide significant undergraduate research opportunities for its students as a regular part of their major field of study. These research projects are guided by the Lyon faculty through regular course work, independent research, and joint faculty-student research projects. These opportunities for advanced research provide Lyon students with the kinds of hands-on experiences that better prepare them for graduate study and careers in their chosen fields.
