 If
you want to learn something about a college, the best way
is to spend a day on campus. If you are a prospective student,
we encourage you to visit Lyon with your family before making
your college enrollment decision. You can find out what
it's like to be a student here by talking with students
and professors, attending a class, eating in the dining
hall, touring the campus, and staying overnight in a residence
hall.
The Lyon admissions office is open from 8-5 on weekdays
and on Saturday mornings by appointment. Visiting
students may spend the night as our guests in a residence
hall, provided that space is available.
Scheduled dates for Preview Days for the 2005-2006
school year are: October 29, November 19, and January
28. All Preview Days are on Saturdays from 10:00AM -
3:00PM. Please contact the Admissions office for further
information.

plan your visit at least two weeks in advance so that we
can make arrangements that meet your individual needs and
interests.
Parents whose son or daughter is spending the night on campus
can obtain hotel accommodations at the Ramada Inn (870-698-1800),
Best Western Scenic Motor Inn (870-698-1855), Super 8 Motel
(870-793-5888), or Holiday Inn Express (870-698-2700).
