Lyon College, like all institutions of higher learning, is a collection of people with great expertise in a variety of areas. In the interest of sharing their special knowledge with the community, many of the faculty and staff members at the College have agreed to make themselves available as speakers or resource persons. This guide (updated Jan. 20, 2006) is designed as a tool for people seeking a speaker or doing research and as a reference for members of the news media. This guide provides a specific list of speakers and topics they are willing to discuss. It also identifies faculty and staff members who are willing to offer their help in answering questions in their areas of expertise. All programs are offered without charge, but traveling expenses would be appreciated where time and distance dictate. Honoraria may be accepted.
