Lyon College rolls out the red carpet to welcome new students and their families to the series of events and activities which prepare you to join the Lyon community as the fall semester begins. This schedule provides the roadmap for five days designed to help you settle in, get acquainted, and feel welcome. We are so pleased to have you join us and hope you will use this time to make the transition from home to campus residence and from being a high school graduate to becoming a college student. You should plan to remain on campus throughout this period and actively participate in each activity. Questions may be directed to Bruce Johnston, Vice-President for Student Life and Dean of Students (bjohnston@lyon.edu or 870-307-7247). The schedule below may change slightly throughout the summer. New students and their families should check it after August 1, when it will be finalized.
